Chapter 1

Wake Up!

"Wake up Simon!" "Wake up!" "Come watch TV with me!" Ever since we moved into our new house and Bought a TV, Emily has been bugging me to watch babyish TV shows with with her. "Be nice to your little sister!" "Okay Mom," I said, even though I was actually thinking, my sister's so annoying! "And now she's brushing the barbie's hair," Emily shouted. "It's your first day of school Simon," Mom said,"Your going to be late, the bus is leaving!" Oh no! I ran out and got onto the bus just as it began to pull away. I went over to where Neal was sitting. My sister sat two rows behind us with a bunch of other girls. "So what did your sister make you watch today?" My best friend Neal said. "All the normal TV shows she watches,"I told him. I prepared to get off as the bus pulled over at Westington Elementary School. I ran towards room twenty-one just as the bell began to ring. there was a message on the board, it said: PLEASE DO NOT MAKE NOISE WHILE I AM GETTING COFFEE! SIT DOWN AND WRITE A STORY!  But, nobody was paying attention. I started opening the door, when it snapped shut.  My finger was stuck, I pulled it out.  To my horror, my finger had many small, multicolored bruises.  I gasped.  Some were white, some were blue, some were purple, and some were red.  Even worse, some changed colors some were a random swirl of colors, and in some I could see my reflection.  I fell down on the ground.  The ceiling spun.  Black!

Chapter2

THE LIBRARY

I woke up staring at a ceiling.  It was my class-room!  Nobody was there.  Maybe it was recess already, but there were two doors, one said, LIBRARY ont it.  "Maybe I should take this one, " I thought aloud as I walked towards the door with LIBRARY on it.  I opened it easily.  Inside were books, but they weren't quite grouped by Dewey Decimal System.  They were grouped from A-Z.
